Legalese Version of Returns Policy

SurplusToner.com will accept returns of product for the following reasons:


  • Product is defective or damaged
  • Non-defective or damaged goods in unopened original packaging
  • SurplusToner.com shipping errors
  • 10% will be deducted for unauthorized returns. You must obtain an authorized RMA before item is returned
  • Your request for a return must be received within 30 days of your receipt of the product. Go to the Help / Contact tab on the Home page and use the "Contact Us" form. In the pull down menu select either "The Product(s) I received is / are defective or damaged" or "I want to return items that are not damaged or defective" or "I received the wrong product as a result of a SurplusToner.com shipping error" in the pull down menu. Complete the form as required and click "Send" when completed.

  • Return requests will be reviewed, approved or denied and communication to that effect sent to you by email within ten business day of receipt of your return request.

  • If your return is approved you will be sent a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) via email. The email will contain an RMA Number. Please make a copy of your original invoice and print the RMA Number on it and place it in the shipping container with the returned merchandise.


  • Merchandise must be returned in its original packaging.


  • With the exception of SurplusToner.com shipping errors you are responsible for shipping costs to return the item to our warehouse.


  • Once your return has been received by the warehouse you will be given a credit for the amount of the purchase within 10 business days after receipt of return for credit to register on your account.

  • Replacement will be sent out after returned item is received back in warehouse.(to make this process faster pictures might be requested before return)

  • After 30 days, consult the manufacturer for warranty information.

  • Items damaged in transit: MUST be reported at the time of delivery; note must be made on the carrier delivery record. In the instance where you are returning merchandise you ordered that is not damaged or defective you will receive a refund less a 20% restocking fee.

  • Special Orders may not be returned for Credit
